Hanafuda Legends is a free, no-download Koi-Koi game for your browser — complete with ranked play, private rooms, an AI opponent, and a survival mode that keeps coming until it doesn't. Desktop and mobile, no install required.

Play modes

• Ranked — Queue for a 6- or 12-round match. Your YAKU rating (Elo-style) climbs or falls with every result. Five tiers: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond. Global leaderboard with achievements tied to reaching the top 100, top 10, and #1.
• Private room — Host a game with 3 to 24 rounds, then share a link or room code. Guests join without an account.
• Vs computer — Pick your difficulty and play at your own pace.
• Hana-Arashi — Survival mode. Your life total erodes with every bad round. How far can you go? Separate leaderboard tracks your best score and longest run.
• Tutorial — A full interactive walkthrough of Koi-Koi rules, in-game. Finishing it unlocks the Hana Cards deck.

Goes deeper than it looks

• 130+ achievements across seven categories — yaku collection, streak milestones, rare combos like Perfect Round (3 yaku in one round), Yaku Overload (5), and tier-based rewards. Rarities from Common to Mythic.
• Collectible artwork — Unlock original Japanese-scene illustrations through ranked wins, Hana-Arashi runs, and vs-computer matches. Displayed in your profile library; unique artwork count appears on the leaderboard.
• Cosmetic decks — Kyoto standard, Hokkaido, Echigo, Hanamaki, Yamagata (with metallic variant), Awa, Korean Hwatu, Dalian, Osaka Mushi, Collectible Hanafuda, Hana Cards, and more. Some unlock through play.
• Table themes — Default, Dragon, Katana, Temple, Wood, Cherry, Tatami, Solid.
• Multiple music tracks — Switch the ambience mid-session.
• English and Japanese UI.
