A Massive Milestone for Hanafuda Legends

Hello everyone! Today is a huge day for the game. We are incredibly proud to announce that our very first completely original deck design is officially live and available to play right now.

Introducing the "Cartoon Hanafuda" Deck

We have a deep respect for the traditional 1889 artwork, but we wanted to create something completely exclusive to Hanafuda Legends. A huge shoutout to our brilliant artist, Suryong, for bringing this vision to life!

We kept the core gameplay exactly the same but gave the classic symbols a hilarious, highly expressive Saturday-morning cartoon overhaul. The personalities of your favorite cards have completely changed.

A few of our favorite new details:

• The iconic January Sun is now rocking black shades.
• The serene August Moon is wrapped in a blanket catching some Zs.
• The July Boar is taking a break in the water to sip from a juice box.
• The Rain Man is getting jumpscared by his frog companion.

Seeing our own custom art fully playable is a surreal and proud moment for this project. It is the perfect deck for a relaxed, funny game night, or for beginners who want a less intimidating visual style while learning the ropes.
